Parties, Get Togethers, You Name It!

I love parties! There is just something about hosting a get together that makes me all giddy inside. I love coming up with any excuse to have a party. Whether it is a gridiron getogether, kid's birthday party, 4th of July, Christmas- you name it, I love parties! That is not to say that I don't turn into a troll a good 6 hrs. before the party- I mean, there is always a lot to do and I have no clones! I just really enjoy the planning, deciding on the menu, (I do not recommend this on an empty stomach!), to making the floral arrangements.

I didn't realize my true passion for this until the other night, after I hosted our G.N.O.'s annual ornament exchange party. I was washing the dishes, ( if you can afford two dishwashers, I highly recommend purchasing them), when it occurred to me how happy I felt seeing other people enjoying themselves at my expense. That is not to be taken as arrogance on my part, simply that all the work I had put into the party was well worth the happiness and enjoyment I saw in those ladies. Then I began to think, I'm not a professional, just an average, ordinary mom who happens to enjoy pleasing others palates! I hope I will be able to give you all some great tips on how to have fun get togethers and I will even throw in some recipes to help get you through.
